My husband is learning to spell/grammar. His boss says that when he wrote,
I Spoke to the customer the "s" in spoke is not capitalized, however it is not noticed as needing correction on any site I have found.

It should be spoke.

Capitals should be used to start sentences and for proper nouns (i.e., the name given to things or people).
