Need to know if the sentence is correct

Is the following a proper sentence, "Let me know if I interest you in what you are looking for."

Re: Need to know if the sentence is correct

Is the person saying these words a candidate for a job, or a prostitute?

Re: Need to know if the sentence is correct

A candidate for a job.

Re: Need to know if the sentence is correct

If you have submitted/sent in an application for a job, then of course they will reply; and if interested in you, offer you an interview. You don't need to ask if, from your application, they are interested.

Better to say : "Thank you for considering my application, and I will await your reply."

Re: Need to know if the sentence is correct

Susie, thanks for your response and advice; I will definitely consider the same, however, all I need to know now is if the sentence is grammatically upright.

Re: Need to know if the sentence is correct

Let me know if I am of interest to you with regard to what you are looking for."

That's grammatically correct, but I warn you: "in what you are looking for" might be said to someone looking for a suitable second had car, rather than a person!

"I have a '96 MG out back. Come and have a look -see if that's what you're looking for."
