one another vs another one

Hello,

Is there a difference of meaning for following sentences? If so, why is the meaning different. Would examining parts of speech would show the reason of different meaning?

1) They support one another.

They = Pronoun. Support = verb. one = noun or pronoun? another = adj

2) They support another one.

They = pronoun. support = verb. another = adj. one = noun or pronoun?

Please advice, and thank you.

Re: one another vs another one

In the sentence...
they support one another.
'one another' is a reciprocal pronoun.
that's a correct sentence.
when a pronoun is used to denote the action done by the subject and on the subject it is called reciprocal pronoun.
for ex.
Each other, one another
