To Plural or not to Plural... This is my question.

Looking but not finding assistance anywhere on the web... Which example is correct in adding the "s" or leaving the "s" off. Only one wire detaches from each lug and both wires are different (not the same wire). Both lugs are seperate also, but are on the same component. (Rule: "wire" or "wires")

A. On light box, detach wire from lug A and lug B.

B. On light box, detach wires from lug A and lug B.


If anyone could tell me the correct sentence and rule of grammer pertaining to this it would be greatly appreciated.
