What if the "both ... and ..." is not enough

Hi!
I'm confused with a special case of both-and/either-or phrases.
What if there are MORE THAN TWO subjects in a sentence similar to those, where you use "both X and Y" (in case of two)?
I'm affraid "both" wouldn't be correct, since I believe it is dedicated for TWO subjects only.
What would be then?

Regards

Re: What if the "both ... and ..." is not enough

So, nobody seems to be concerned with such a phrase as:
"Both the ...(first), the ...(second), and the ...(third subject) are OK"

Are both of the three OK?
Otherwise - how should I write it?

Either advice welcome.
Regards

I think "both" would only be used in regards to two items, not three. Might you say, "All three?"

Re: What if the "both ... and ..." is not enough

Thanks, Catherine!
Could You drop here one complete sample sentence with three items, please?

Yeah, both refers only to two things. Some say between can only refer to two things too. There is a little more leniency on that, I'd say.

Here's a lesson on between/among.

Thank you very much!
The Between/Among dilemma appears quite simple to me, but I like your Quizzes

Is GM American? I mean : 'yeah' in a site purporting to educate in correct grammar?!
Judge Judy doesn't allow it…and she's AMERICAN!!

I agree with Catherine.
Let's look at what the Grammar Monster site says:
"between can be used with three or more things as long as they are separate and distinct. For example:

Share the sweets between Peter, Paul, Fred, and Dan."

No authority is quoted as to who wrote this sentence.
It should be:
"Share the sweets amongst Peter, Paul, Fred, and Dan."

Education is a shared commitment between dedicated teachers, motivated students, and enthusiastic parents with high expectations. (Bob Beauprez)
Bob Beauprez IS an AMERICAN politician and member of the Republican Party from the state of Colorado.

Shades of "more and more of our exports are coming form overseas"!
Education isn't a commitment! Someone might have a commitment to PROVIDING the best education possible. A student has commitment to his studies etc.

In ENGLISH, the sentence is:
Education REQUIRES a commitment by dedicated teachers, motivated students, and aspiring parents alike.
