Puctuation and Lists with multiple "sets" of nowns being compared.

Hello,

I'm trying to determine the correct punctuation for a sentence that makes lists multiple nouns while attempting to group them into sets. I've included an example below. I've placed the commas where i believe they should be, but I'm unsure, especially about the Oxford comma following the word "female."

Most things come in pairs like day and night, good and evil, dark and light, male and female, and life and death.

Thanks,
Jeremy

Your list looks fine to me. Remember, the need for clarity trumps convention every single time when it comes to the Oxford Comma.
