Yes, it's okay, but note that "nor" could be replaced by "or", which is much more common. The use of "nor" perhaps gives added emphasis to the negation, that's all.

Btw, both "nor" and "or" are coordinators.

Yes, I'd agree with that. As I said, "or" is much more common.
