We don't always use that pattern, but you will sometimes encounter it. There's nothing ungrammatical about it. These examples are all fine: I have frequently eaten Octopus. Ed has never ridden a motorcycle. Kim will probably have fish. We must quickly do something. Your example does not match that pattern. PaulM
