error spotting

which is corrrect?
everyone raised thier hands or every one raised his/her hand

Re: error spotting

(1) "Everyone / every one raised their hands".

(2) "I've been to everyone /every one of those places".

In (1) you should use the pronoun "everyone" where the meaning is 'every person'.

But in (2) where the meaning is 'every place', you should use the two words "every one".
