Re: Presente progressive

Can anybody help me?
They are nearly lying down.
Why is used the presente progressive?
Thanks in advance

Re: Presente progressive

I am thinking it is 'lying'.

"...ARE nearly LYING down."

The present progressive tense is used for an on-going action in the present.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
