Let's start by writing the sentence as i would be in proper English:

We do not always know what products are out there on the market.

We do not always know what products are on the market.

out there: = (on the market) somewhere in the world

I think you meant:

We do not always know what products there are on the market.


Is that what you meant to write?

I think he was seeing it as 'there' = position/location, as in:
"I'm not going in there—it's freezing."

No doubt, he will clarify this.
