neither.... nor

Usage of neither.... nor.... Please advise whether both answers, (a) and (b), are grammatically correct? If not, why?

Question: He must not wear a hat. He must not wear anything black.

(a) He must wear neither a hat nor anything black.

(b) He must neither wear a hat nor anything black.
