Please help me with this sentence: Being assigned several different kinds of tasks, Celia has to multitask to survive. I wonder if it's better to delete the word "being". Thank you so much!

Being assigned several different kinds of tasks, Celia has to multitask to survive.


You could drop "being" with no change in meaning. It wouldn't be better -- just another slightly different way of saying the same thing.
