Imperative verbs

I am presently preparing a paper on Jesus of Galilee’s use of imperative verbs.
Would the following be acceptable?

Examples of imperative verbs:

“Preach the gospel to the poor.”
“Heal the brokenhearted.”
“Preach deliverance to the captives.”
“Preach recovering of sight to the blind.”
“Set at liberty them that are bruised.”
“Preach the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Interpretation
These are the divinely initiated imperative verbs which call Jesus into action.

My spirit is upon you. I anoint you to preach the gospel to the poor; I send you to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and (preach) recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Thank you.

Joseph of Arimathea

Re: Imperative verbs

I am afraid that I do not understand your question. If I follow you correctly, the words below are God's words to Jesus:

My spirit is upon you. I anoint you to preach the gospel to the poor; I send you to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and (preach) recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

Therefore, how does it follow that you can state that your list of imperative sentences derives from Jesus?

I think I have missed the point.
