There is a wonderful site called "Sim Programs" and it is located here http://www.simprograms.com/. This site has a llot of indepth tutorials which wil show you how to create your own object, how to recolour, how to create skins, ect... I suggest you check it out. We learned a lot from there. Good luck in trying your hand at object creating
