You need to get WinZip to unzip the files. The reason why they are zipped is because when the file is not zipped, the file size is too large and takes up too much space on the website. Plus it is a lot easier to simply use winzip to extract the file that you have downloaded into your sim game.
We have a step by step tutorial that will show you how to download objects and unzip them. It is quite simple when you go by all the steps in the tutorial. Now to get win zip go to their website >> http://www.winzip.com/ << and click on download evaluation version. Then save it, and install on your computer.

How did you get here? Tis my own site :)
I downloaded something called Sims Plus! SimsZip from simsplus.com. Then you just download the object, open it when it is done downloading, and drag it onto the simszip (which you open). Then press start and it downloads it into the game.
