Stalin Hugo Chaves but im sure that she was speaking for most democrats.
The fifth ammendment says no private property can be seized with out just compensation. Can you imagine what those propertys just worth would be. To the democrats exactly zero. The same value they would place on the U S Constitution. You can likely expect that to happen in a years time. When the democrats get complete control of tis country.

no story it was during a house hearing concerning the price of oil. The C E Os of exxon chevron shell marathon were testifing in front of the congress people. Maxine Waters made that statement that maybe the (so called big oil co.s) should be siezed by the govt meaning her and her fellow democrats. And i have no doubt that when the opportunity arises the democrats will (ala Nicholi Lennin Josef stalin hugo chaves)will do that along with every piece of private property in this country.

It was a televised hearing may 22 . She stumbled over the word socialism and couldnt say nationalism but was able to spit out the words take these companys over.

You know that Maine waters or Barack Hussien Obama would not compensate any stockholders of those companys at all . I do not believe that Natural Resources should be privately owned. If someone discovers a new resource, they should be richly rewarded for their efforts; but the ownership of that resource should be public.

In the province of alberta the mineral rights to oil gold and any other minerals are owned by the province. In the united states mineral rights are in most cases owned by individuals, The mineral rights came with the land in a lot of cases both the surface and the mineral rights are owned by the same enity although not always.
Very seldom does the oil co own the mineral rights. The mineral rights are leased to the oil co.s who operate the leases and pay the owners a specified amount or royaltys for the leases. All the expenses enherent in the operation are borne by the oil co. And those expenses can be and are considerable. It takes regular swabing working the well over to keep it pumping.
Where would you get the expertise to do all that work if bureaucrats like maxine waters harry reid were controling the operation.

Waters has been in office since 92 and she has gotten about 75% and even higher of the votes every time she ran since then. I lived in the 35th district (Waters District) in Los Angeles for about 3 years.

Waters says a lot of things, no Millions of things that give Republicans Heart Attacks and she enjoys it. In fact she Never Stops talking. She is what I call the "Shock Jock" of the House of Reps.

Sen rockefeller of W VA made the statement that mc cain dropped lazer guided bombs from 35000 feet and had no feeling for the people on the ground . There is precedent for the govt taking over industries, seizing private property.
In 1918 President Wilson took control of the nations railroads. In 1943 President Roosevelt seized control of the coal industry. In april of 1952 President Truman seized control of the steel industry. The supreme court stopped that in june of 1952.
All three of these actions were done as a wartime measure to keep labor unions from striking and himdering the war effort but they happened nonetheless. And democrats did it. Different breed of democrats than today and for far different reasons than Maxine Waters San Fran Nan would have. But the precident is there. So when someone says it cant happen they dont read history.
