This forum has a long history, by interent standards anyway-unfortunately it has been abandoned for far too long due to real life circumstances knocking the heck out of what had been my very real desire to keep this board alive and well forever so that all of us could meet here and communicate with each other everyday.

I'm not sure that a forum like this is even needed nowadays since the advent of facebook, etc...but I hope that this once thriving BB does bring some of us back together again and that maybe some new folks will join us as well!

stand in honor for the brave souls that stood and fought on that Hill FSB29 in the central highlands.

With a bowed head for the 17 out of C co that fought there last fight.

And for the 56 wounded standing there ground.

for Gods grace and forever humble for the rest of us who remained.

For the support of all of those who helped us to live another day.

for the words from the chopper pilot as we stood and had a hot beer that forever remains in my mind.

To see Top Hewitt before shipping home.

Some Gave All All Gave Some.

Yes it is a very Special weekend for me as i reflect some 40 years later This May 25 2008.

God Bless our Troops Past and Present.

Thanks for posting this Jeffro. It reminds me of what this weekend is all about. We will be meeting up with those brothers on the higher ground one of these days. I'll have a molson tonight and be thinking of guys from C company that were lost on on FSB 29

Jeffron that is the least I can brother is to honor those who have gone before us, especially if they are soldiers of a brother 4th ID
