This forum has a long history, by interent standards anyway-unfortunately it has been abandoned for far too long due to real life circumstances knocking the heck out of what had been my very real desire to keep this board alive and well forever so that all of us could meet here and communicate with each other everyday.

I'm not sure that a forum like this is even needed nowadays since the advent of facebook, etc...but I hope that this once thriving BB does bring some of us back together again and that maybe some new folks will join us as well!

Chosen one

Today The chosen one HUSSIEN obama has told the VFW convention in orlando that he and Joe Biden asked for $1 billion dollars for the nation of Georgia Didnt say anything about kicking the Russians out. as long as the Russians are there they will take the money the shiny glowing one and The plagerist send there.

Re: Chosen one

Duane I didn't know that you called Senator Obama the chosenone . Does that mean you voting for him?

Re: Chosen one

Duane, all by yourself you are a real live comedy team. Kick the Russians out of Georgia, Hah!

McCain talked to the VFW, too. I listened to a fair number of his lies, but I never heard him tell one as big as suggesting that that he would force the Russians out of Georgia. You hearing those voices inside your head again?

Re: Chosen one

Here is my take on the Russian-Georgian crisis. I admit that the whole thing caught me unaware - Much like Europe was caught unaware by the Balkan crisis which precipitated WWI. We almost got involved in WWIII over a Russian presents in Cuba, which was separated from us by 90 miles of water. We still haven't forgiven Cuba for being Communist. Yet we are making alliances with countries which are right on the border of Russia. If we are entitled to a "Monroe Doctrine," covering the whole Western Hemisphere, don't other countries have a right to be concerned about what's happening right next door?
As I understand the situation, we are upset because Russia incurred on Georgian territory. Yet this was a reaction to Georgia invading a province which really didn't want to be a part of that country. If a referendum were held, they would vote, overwhelmingly, to be a part of Russia. So much for self-determination.

Re: Chosen one

Why does the United States always have to stick its nose into other countries business?

Re: Chosen one

Mad Doc just what did you know about Georgia ( the nation). Who was the most famous person to have come from that nation. How do you know haow the people of Georgia would vote in a referendum. You are just parroting the communist line , when you say that.
And no i will not be voting for Hussien. He has been chosen by Hamas Hezbolah Iran and 200 thousnad drunken young krauts to be President of the U S.
So im sure the latest polls placing Mc cain 5 points over him sjould not mean anything. Or at least no follower of his will say those polls mean someone cheated. He has been chosen by all the people who count in this world islamic facsits terroists and that should be it right demiocrats. .
