This forum has a long history, by interent standards anyway-unfortunately it has been abandoned for far too long due to real life circumstances knocking the heck out of what had been my very real desire to keep this board alive and well forever so that all of us could meet here and communicate with each other everyday.

I'm not sure that a forum like this is even needed nowadays since the advent of facebook, etc...but I hope that this once thriving BB does bring some of us back together again and that maybe some new folks will join us as well!

Know anyone from the 2-12?

I just got back from the natl Archives where I was looking for material on the 1-12. I accidently copied an annual report for the 2-12 and would like to get it to them rather than just toss it.

Ma'am!

Which exact dates does the report span over? The 2/12th Inf was in 3rd Bde, which was the Bde that was "swapped" between 25th ID's 3rd Bde, between August 1967 - December 1970. If the report you copyed covers earlier or later dates than the above now just mentioned, and no further replys to your post is received, I would dearly like to see you then sending the report-copy to for example the 25th ID assn.

The 25th ID Assn postadd is as follows:

25th Infantry Division Association
Post Office Box 7
Flourtown PA 19031-0007

Again, the above, only if report is for timeperiod of either prior to August 1967, or after December 1970.

You are just a fount of info. The report was for full year 1969. I emailed it to the division's web master who is getting it to the battalion historian.
