House Republicans rose up en masse against their vice president Dick Cheney on Tuesday morning to blast an administration proposal that would grant Treasury historic authority to start buying hundreds of billions of dollars in devalued mortgage-related assets, according to members present.

The lines to speak were long, the questions many and sentiment in the Cannon Caucus Room Tuesday swayed heavily against the Treasury proposal.

Afterward, Texas Rep. Joe Barton took the unusual step of telling reporters that he had politely given Cheney a piece of his mind -– the sort of dissent Republicans considered unthinkable during much of the Bush administration's reign.

oooh Rats is it . Now just how did the finacial markets get into such a fix. It happened because of the pressure put on Fannie mae and freddie mac by a certain community organizer and his cronys in the demonic party. They were encouraged by those democrats to by up loans from banks labeled NINJA. Acroynm for no job no oncome no assets. It was to make life more fair so that the Brothas and the Sistahs in the hood could buy expensive houses . even thought they could not nor did they ever intend to repay those loans. The idea was to make everything fair. Over ninety percent of the people pay their debts on time.

He and hsi business partners got federal state and ity money to the tune of millions of dollars to refurbish repair buildings in the south side of chicago which they never did . But the money went somewhere. They got those millions of dollars handed to them because of the efforts and influence of a former community organizer then Illinois state senator who voted present most of the time. who tried to deny babies that survived abortions the right to nurishment medical help. that individual is the golden shiny one the one chosen by Hamas Hezbolah Iran. Of course forget about the fact that Bush,Cheney have had 8 years at the helm and now, its their own party thats turned against them. I guess that they have finally wised up, too bad it took almost 8 years, but nobody ever said Republicans were fast learners.

I really think what we need to fix all of this is George Bush to Land on the Deck of an Aircraft Carrier in the mist of all the Exciting Smoke and Noise dressed in tailored flight suit, Lookin Sharp, Standin Tall and once again Yell, "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"!!!!!!!
