This forum has a long history, by interent standards anyway-unfortunately it has been abandoned for far too long due to real life circumstances knocking the heck out of what had been my very real desire to keep this board alive and well forever so that all of us could meet here and communicate with each other everyday.

I'm not sure that a forum like this is even needed nowadays since the advent of facebook, etc...but I hope that this once thriving BB does bring some of us back together again and that maybe some new folks will join us as well!

This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Russ you should give teri Cannovo credit for this.
And thats how sharing the wealth by marx and The oneos upposeed to work but doesnt. IN THE OLD SOVIET uNION lenin and Stalin took everyones wealth but they didnt give it to anyone they kept it and thats wht the great shiny one will do. Lenin and stalin had their Red Army the great one will have his civilian SS. THAT WILL DO HIS BIDDING.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

No comparison...taking from a low paid server and giving to a homeless person...

Far cry from making $250,000/yr. and paying more taxes.

How absurd.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Joy nailed it on the head. Unless the waiter had taxable income in excess of $250,000, rather then showing an example of Obama's tax plan, "you" would just be displaying a tendency towards being a jerk.

And, trust me, we don't need any more lessons in that - you guys have demonstrated that quite enough.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

so now you are going to tell me that sharing the wealth does not include the current minimum $700,000,000,000.00 bailout of companies that were so greedy they got caught with their pants down and tax payers have to bail them out. This is to inlcude buying into some companies.

So now wall street is getting bailed out, to include $400,000.00 junkits of fun and games with some of the 120,000,000.00 given to AIG.

Now GM and Chrysler are requesting bailout money and or buy in by the US Government [ socialism], the insurance companies are getting ready to line up for a nice hand out, whoes next? Oh yeah our states now are running huge deficits and surely their hands will be out for some of that good ole bailout money and then they will go and tax you, I and everyone else within your state to cover the deficit.

But yet if you or I open our hand for some of this tax money all that lands in our palm is bird ****.

So what is that ? Not sharing the wealth? BS it surely is, except its sharing the wealth at the top, were it always is shared.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Mike you ever hear me championing this socialists bailout?

No you haven't because I do not believe in it at all. It shouldn't have been passed. having said that I realize that their are tons of plain working class folks that stood to lose BILLIONS...but that is the capitalism for you. See Mike in live, mo matter what liberals thinks, there are no guarantees.

As an aside I just heard Biden say that instead of $250.000.00 a year they are now saying $150.000.00 a year. When the time comes if you make $100.00 a year those socialists will find the way to tax that as well.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Redlet the answer to your initial response no I have or read not.

My initial sentence was generic not a direct response at it may seem.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Redleg sorry about misspelling on your name. Once you post can not edit, which is a drag

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Actually, Russ has some silly romanticized idea that a second great depression would be good for America. He thinks that with his collection of weapons, he and his will be okay while all of the people that he dislikes will go under - and that the country will be better off for it.

He is totlly full of crap about that, but that is what he has said.

And, Russ, you most assuredly did not hear Biden say what you claim he said. The reality is that Obama has never said that everyone under $250,000 would get a tax cut. What he has repeatedly said is that taxes will not increase for anyone making $250,000 or less. If memory serves, it was $200,000 and below where he said tax cuts begin. In other words, if your taxable income - not your gross - is $250,000 your taxes will remain where they are now.

All the dude is doing is rolling back the tax rates as they existed before Bush passed his "temporary" tax cuts.

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

Suddenly I am getting the Impression that the Anti-Obama group seem to think that Obama has all of a sudden invented something called "The Tax".

They must know something I don't because I paid high Taxes under every president that was elected when I owned my Business. The Old saying is, "The more you Make, The More They Take". He-ll, I can remember my last project I think I paid about 30% Fed and an additional 17% State of Cal, in Cap. Gaines Taxes!

Now if I could have shown a Profit of say 75 Billion a Year than maybe I could gotten away with paying little or no tax. Then I guess you are exempted from'"The More You Make, The More They Take".....

Re: This just in. Brilliant and Succinct leasson in re-distribution of wealth

What a ********* excuse to stiff a waitress. No one will ever accuse you of "sharing-the-wealth."
