The Smithsonian has refurbished this museum, adding new space to cover Vietnam. Their online site is at http://americanhistory.si.edu/militaryhistory/exhibition/flash.html I have suggested one change to their site, and have not received a reply yet. They state that Nixon started the withdrawal in 1970. I remember the 9th Division sending some troops home in '69. No big deal, but for all the millions they spent, they ought to get it right.

I mirror what Mike wrote. I cherish the "Light Ruck" book you sent me and my son, Chandler, cherishes the autograph book you sent to him a few years ago. Just as an update, Chandler is in his second year at the Unviersity of San Francisco as an army ROTC scholarship recipient and he is faaaaaar more gung-ho than I ever was about the army. He even loves the "butch" haircut. Ugh!!
