This Saturday 15th October @ the Thistle Hotel, Watford Road,St Albans from 12 midday to 12 midnight for a real old knees up to get rid of those Caister blues. On offer is a fine selection of soul, jazzfunk and anthems from across the last four decades to lift your spirits.

Those providing your musical entertainment include Roni O'Brien, Tony'Maggot'Matthews, Steve'Jazzfunk'Day, Frostie, Ginger Tony, Terry James, Johnny'Funkin'Skates,'New Boy'Leroy and Pete'Dad'Collins. Special guests include Robbie Burns(remember him from the California Ballroom back in the day?) and Hertfordshire's very own Mr. Northern Soul,Yogi.

Tax for this extravaganza is a mere £10 on the door. That's less than a quid an hour for a good day out - can't be bad. The venue is less than a mile from Junction 21A off the M25. Take the A405 towards St Albans, next roundabout after the motorway junction take the first exit into Watford Road. Take next left, Belvedere Gardens, hotel entrance is on your left. Easy peasy.
