Interstitial Cystitis???

I have IC and was informed of a product called d-mose or something like that. I was given your website and cannot find it. Can you please direct me to where this can be located so I may try this out. Thanks

Re: Interstitial Cystitis???

Dear Sue -

You may find d-Mannose through Nutritional Testing and Supplements at 1-800-606-8822. I suggest you consider using UTI-Care, which contains many homeopathic remedies designed to reduce the symptoms of urinary tract challenges. And, it has other ingredients as well including d-Mannose, MSM, Birch Leaf, Argine and Cranberry.

All the best health - Dr. Bob Martin

Re: Interstitial Cystitis???

I think that product that you need is D-Mannose.

Re: Re: Interstitial Cystitis???

Thanks for your reply, but I did find out that D-Mannose will do nothing for IC. IC is not at all related to cystitis, and D-Mannose is great for that. There has never been any research to confirm any proof or that this helps people with IC. I have researched this product and there is not one company that can provide any research or prove that this product is safe for IC sufferers, I'm sure it probably won't hurt, especially since this is just another name for Sugar, but I'm looking for a valid product that will help. I am always researching new things and I appreciate your message. Thanks

Re: Re: Re: Interstitial Cystitis???

So because there is no research then that means it doesnt work ? One does not equal the other. I only use this "confirmed by research rule" on things that have a very delayed response or no detectable response with treatment. Things such as cancer, you really dont know if you are getting better or not without testing. But with IC you know exactly how you are doing based on your comfort-pain level, right ? So why would you want to wait for years or possibly eternity for someone else to tell you if this will help your pain or not ? Take a bottle and find out right now ! If it doesnt work ask for your money back, end of controversy, research and speculation-

Re: Re: Re: Re: Interstitial Cystitis???

Julie, well said~! I'm always amazed by people who are down on what they're not up on. If Sue questioned the efficacy of pharmaceuticals the way she views d-Mannose she'd be better informed. And, the reason is quite simple according to Dr. Cassidy, a Canadian medical expert when he said, 'only 20% of all medical pharmaceuticals have solid science behind them'. You might also recall, several years ago, a pharmaceutical executive from one of the largest drugs companies in the world admited that 90% of medical drugs work less than 50% of the time.

I've used the components in UTI-Care on many IC suffers with excellent results. This was after many had suffered needlessly while taking medical drugs to no avail.

IC is not an easy condition to heal because of its complexity and chronic nature however with time and persistance, i believe UTI-Care offers hope and results.

Sincerely,

Dr. Bob Martin
