Re: hair loss

Yes, I would like to know what the comman substance is that helps hair loss, too. I do know that too much copper from copper pipes, with acidic water going through them(ph lower than 7),causes hair loss. Any disruption in the zinc/copper ratio causes a disruption of all the systems in the body, and hair is the first to go. Even Dr. Dean Edell was talking about this "new" discovery of the dangers of copper from the water on his show yesterday. He said the report was scary to him as he never thought this could ever be a problem. I have known about this for over 20 years. Some people listen and get their water checked others don't and they usually get sick or die up here where almost everyone is on a well. I have taken the steps to put in a neutralizer(add calcite and a magnesiun boster)to bring the ph up to 7. The acid water from our well is no longer eating away the pipes and causing my hair to break, my daughter's joints to ache, and my husbands gout has gone away.
I would appreciate knowing if there is anything that can strenghten my hair now. I have noticed if I eat at least one egg yoke a day my hair gets thicker.....and healthier.

Re: Re: hair loss

after emailing the doc and receiving no reply i decided to do some more searching...recently in the news german researchers claim that the substance is caffeine. im guessing this is what the doc was talking about although i cant say for sure since i missed that radio program...

Re: Re: Re: hair loss

Yes, now that you mention it, I heard that on the national news.

Re: Re: Re: hair loss

Yes, the common substance that he mentioned is caffeine. He warned that he did not mean to imply that large amounts of caffeine should be taken internally, though, because too much caffeine is harmful and can even cause death.

Re: Re: Re: Re: hair loss

i wonder if it really works? i mean over the years there has been so much snake oil...and if products do work...its only very minimal. i wonder if caffeine would grow your hair significantly.
