Smelly scalp...HELP!

My 10 year old son's scalp smells really bad...I have tried Tea Tree shampoo as well as the the unnatural products and nothing helps.
I am wondering if this is a hormonal imbalance or is he lacking something nutrionally?

He also has very bad fingernails and toes and the Dr. told me he has 10 nail dystrophy but know several other kids who have the same thing. I am puzzled...

Any ideas or suppliments he could take?

Re: Smelly scalp...HELP!

I am 75 and have a smelly scalp. And also, have tried Tea Tree shampoo. It seems to help if I wash my hair every two to three days. Doctor has no suggestions. And I also have problem with my finger nails. The quick separates from the nail and I thought I had a fungus, but my neurologist says it is a form of psoriasis, and doesn't volunteer what to do. Since I was to see him for another ailment, he wants me to reschedule for an appointment to check this problem out. Other than looking yukkey, being on a fixed income, this has to wait until some future year.
