BEWARE WHEN RIDING IN THE NORTH EAST.Thanks for the info. Not surprised by that law.consider the source.When I lived in western Mass we did a lot of riding in NY and had to have a reflector on the back of our helmits or get a steep fine.They still have that law. In Mass,its ilegal to use a helmit headset.They can take it from you.In Conn.its ilegal to use or have in your vehicle a radar detector.They can take it from you. The north east controls people more than any other part of the country that I know of. Why did I move to Texas--for more freedom.

Hell, even I'm old enough to remember helmet relfectors.

I don't like it they are targeting motorcyclists, but I can't say we didn't bring it on ourselves. I have called the police because my neighbors enjoy riding their HD's in with straight pipes after midnight and reving them up. Then the police don't do anything because they have to be there to hear it. Of course that won't happen as it takes them a while to get here and by then the neighbors are in their house. I really dislike riding behind those LOUD bikes. I wouldn't doubt others are annoyed by that also.

Didn't think it was inappropriate at all. It's either Tenneessee or N.C that requires the little quarter sized reflectors on your license plate from what I've read about riding "The Dragon".....but I to remeber the helmet reflectors & I guess old habits are hard to break, I still use them on both sides & rear.

Hey RR---Maybe this will work where you live. We had a dog barking problem every night that kept us awake.We called the sheriff about it and this is what he said.
If the dog starts barking ,call me and go outside with your phone.If I can hear the dog I will come over and present the owners with a ticket for disturbing the peace of the neighbors.

I know what you mean about the loud pipes.We all have been putting up with them morons for decades.But its only maybe 1% of all MC riders.Why punish everyone with such a law.?
We stoped going to the LONE STAR RALLY Because the strait pipes were every where and it became unbearable to stand anywhere on the street.

Strait pipes save lives-WRONG -Strait pipes pixx people off.When will they learn the people that make the laws don't ride bikes,so we need to present a more positive image.
