Hey everyone,
DJ and I got back this AM about 10:00. Holed up overnight in Deming NM, which only gave us about 200 miles to cover this AM. When we left Palo Duro Canyon, we followed Bob Bass (thank you Bob) in an escorted tour to Rick Londagin's house in Stinnett Tx. Sunday AM. There, we bought a few VII parts from Rick and safely stored them in our truck for the trip back home. Did about 600 miles Sunday, relaxing in our A/C'd truck while the bike suffered on the trailer behind us. I think this is the way we will do it from now on with excursions exceeding 500 miles or so one way.
We want to thank Bob for his efforts in hosting this event as well as making breakfast for us both days - way above the call of duty!
We want all of you EVA'ers and LSVer's to think about coming to Tucson the first weekend of November for a little tour of the Southwest's finest scenery, history and grog. More on this to follow shortly.
