48.9°F this morning - but I believe that tmeter reads falsely low - probably down to ~50 last night. Really nice morning now. Back down to 12 chickens - Little Lucky didn't make it. I've placed a bounty on the neighborhood big white cat.

55-ish and partly cloudy. Have to rent a trailer and haul the Grey Lady back to the mechanic, major problems with the front brake (the pads fell out on the road...I thought that wasn't supposed to be able to happen-very upset.) meanwhile, I'm enjoying my retirement and planning rides for next year.
