Hi, Gang;
I picked her up yesterday about noon, and rode her home via I-40/41/60 through the canyon east of ABQ. She idles smoothly, runs well, and handles much better that she has in years (due partially, I think to my insistance that the mechanic inflate both tires to 40 PSI.) She seems to use more gas than she should, but since I was bucking 40MPH headwinds on most of the ride, I will defer judgement until I can do a proper test ride. There is no shake in the front end, and tracking is excellent. I plan on doing a 200-mile test run (Mountainair to Santa Rosa and back) on 2 lane roads one way and I-40 the other way. Meanwhile, I am preparing for the ride out to Texas for the HCT. See you all there!!
