I thought I would post here to remind everyone about the Enchanted Tour taking place next month, August 17-20 in Silver City, New Mexico.
This is a great event. We go riding on some of my favorite roads. Friday we will go north to Alpine via Mule Creek and Clifton with lunch at the Bear Wallow Cafe in Alpine.
Saturday we will ride down to the Gila Cliff Dwellings which is also a nice ride.
The weather in Silver City is usually very pleasant. Much cooler than here in Texas. And MUCH less humid.
We don't have a registration form. Just reply to this post if you will be attending so I can get a head count and will be looking for you in Silver City. I already have a couple names. I will put the names of those attending on the web site for all to see.

Sadly I won't be making it this year. We are going to view the solar eclipse in Oregon, and then travel on to visit various friends and family. But I'll be thinking of you all in Silver City!

Looks like it might be a small group (even smaller than usual).

I just checked my schedule, and I( believe I can make the trip. I'll have to motel it, hopefully there is one available. It also starts a couple of days after 'payday' so money should be no problem. There are some nice curvy roads up there, so I'll probably ride the FJR instead of the 'Lady'.

I am going to have to cancel, money is tight and while I could do it if I camped, I just am not in good enough physical shape to 'rough it' anymore. I will miss seeing you all. Have fun, and take pix!
