VH 2018 is going to be at the Lake Palestine Resort. We stayed here several years ago and it seemed everyone liked it. We have the choice of the 2nd or 3rd weekend of October as of now. I will contact our incoming President(Cindy) and see if she has a preference. I think I remember a scheduling conflict that needed to be looked at.
Host for VH are the incoming & outgoing officers. Anyone that would like to help would be appreciated.

Sheila & I spent Memorial weekend driving the area and found some good & interesting things to see and roads to ride. Two routes, One North & West. One South & East. More to come on this also.

President-elect is Cindy Holik and Sec-Treas is Jan Henry. Both volunteered...

I have some of the information on the web page. I have the 3rd weekend from discussions at the last lunch ride. I will change it when we get a firm date.
I do remember this place. I had a beautiful site for my tent on nice grassy point about 15 feet from the lake. Was really nice site.

I hope the weekend does get changed. Right now it is scheduled the same weekend as the CMA 'Colors' rally, and I'd have to choose between the two. Not an easy decision.

Hello! Me and my wife, Velia spent 2 days in Palestine last week, Thursday and Friday. ( By Car :( ) We took the Texas State Railroad Ride from Palestine to Rusk! Beautiful area. We can now say we've been on a train ride. Total of 4 hours there and back. I felt like I was in an old western movie! LOL! We were surprised how much greener the area is from central Texas?
