It's less than a week to VH. As I understand it, it will be a small group. Us, DD, Rod, Dave and Jim & Sandra. Maybe Chip, Maybe brother Harold. I think Sheila & I are doing breakfast one day. Maybe Mary's in Strawn for lunch on day. Maybe HWY36 Cafe in Gatesville for a lunch one day. These are all tentative. Maybe with a smaller group, we will want to eat at some other place. Don't know about supper any night. Need to decide on a new Sec/Treasurer. If possible, need to bring the coffee pot from Cindy, if we need it. I think our cabin will have a coffee maker. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions are appreciated. See everyone in a week. I think nice weather.

Good day
Looking forward to the Voyage Home. Something has come up and I will have to leave after the ride Friday. Have to be home Saturday.
Eating wherever is no problem. Don't always have to be at the campground with someone doing the cooking. Just good to see everyone and solve world problems and talk about those not there.

I agree. With as few as we are. Probably just as easy to eat supper out.

The planned rides have stops atMRy'inStrWn and the place in Cranfels Gap.

If anyone has other suggestionsfor rides, I am open to suggestion.

We who are contemplating a day trip lunch outing, smile favorably upon the idea of a lunch in Gatesville.

If we can make Friday ride to to Gatesville for lunch, we will be able to see Richard and Cindy at the Hwy 36 Cafe. I think it would be good to see them. We can go thru Walnut Springs, Iridell, Cransfil Gap then Gatesville. I know it may not be a planned route but getting to see Richard and Cindy would be worth it. Any thoughts??

Friday forecast (weather.com) for Glen Rose and Gatesville shows 50% chance of rain.
Saturday's forecast still looks good but Gatesville forecast now has probably of rain at 80%. If we're going to Gatesville, I would suggest we do it Saturday.

BTW, google cannot find a Hwy 36 Cafe. The closest match is Junction at Route 36 Restaurant. Is that it?

Ditto Pathfinder. Junction at Rte 36 is closest match afaik. What say the gurus? (I always thought that Pathfinder is the guru.) 70% chance on Friday here. Name the place & time, we plan to join you. Same old landline number. New cell number emailed to RR, Pfinder & DeepSea.

I would be in favor of doing Gatesville Saturday. Riding in the steady rain with temps in the 50s forecasted for Friday won't be pleasant.
