Ok, so Voyage Home was Nov 10-13. The easiest answer is it was cold and windy. James and Sandra Judge , Dave Schani and Judy, RR and David & Sheila came. DD was going to come but work got in the way. All arrived Thursday except Judy and she came in Friday noonish. It was cold and rainy Friday and we decided not to ride that day. Did find a great little restaurant, Debbie's to eat lunch/breakfast. sat and talked until the restaurant closed at 2p. Just wasn't a fun day. Ate at a Mexican food restaurant around 6p. Called it a day and wished/prayed for a better day Saturday. RR went home because he had some family things to do. Sandra had talked to Cindy Baxter and Richard and Cindy wanted to meet up with us for lunch somewhere. Saturday started cold but no rain or litte rain. Decided to meet Richard & Cindy for lunch at the Junction 36 Cafe in Gatesville for lunch. went thru Meridan, Clifton, Cransfil Gap. Found a new road, FM 182, to Gatesville. Met Richard and Cindy for lunch, It was great to see them. Cindy looked good. Richard was Richard. No more chickens. Now they have cats, loads of cats. Seems the cats have adopted them. After a good visit, went back to Glen Rose, packed up to go home. James loaded up his Spyder in the trailer for the trip home. Left Sunday morning. It was cold and rainy but good to see everyone. Looking forward to better weather at HCT. No location yet. Looking at a possible new campground or the park in Kerrville. Till HCT.
Thanks for the report. Although I missed fellowship with you guys, the weather didn't sound very appealing, especially considering we usually tent camp. Glad everyone was safe.
Understand. You were missed. Don't know when HCT will be. Might be in Kerrville or an RV park around Medina??. Look forward to seeing everyone. Stay warm.
