Good Morning to all of you guys and gals in the Lone Star Voyagers Boating Association!!
We're starting to get monsoon rains here in NM now, this is where we get the majority of our summer moisture, so it's a good thing. The thunderstorms usually occur in the afternoon, so there's plenty of time to ride in the morning. Hope everyone had a great Fourth!!

Last time I saw it, it is a MUCH prettier river in New Mexico that in that area where it is also called the Rio Bravo (TX-Mex).
Where the heck is Albequeque? Is it anywhere near Albuquerque New Mexico?

The Rio Grand is muddy in the spring (winter snowpack runoff), but clears up in the late spring and stays that way all summer. They have a 'Great Raft Race' through town in the middle of the summer thats lots of fun, and gets some interesting entrants every year. Last year the Sheriff's Dept was out there giving rides on their Hovercraft.
