Just got back from my ride. We did around 250 miles, my '01 got just over 48 mpg (solo). We drove past two different lakes on the Arkansas River. While both have been higher (barely) than they are right now, it is as high as I have seen either. The lake I go to (Kaw Resevoir) was 31 feet above normal water pool levels. It was amazing! Both marinas looked like little islands, not connected to the shore at all.

Maybe we should consider a "blessing of the boats"!
