I. 2 Motels to choose from, each about 8 miles from the campground.

A, Rodeway Inn, outside pool, continantal
breakfast.......$49.99+tax (double or quad)
B. Motel 6, indoor pool, coffee
2 on Thursday.....$50.99 + tax
4 on Thursday.....$62.99 + tax
2 on Fri/Sat......$75.99 + tax/night
4 on Fri/Sat......$87.99 + tax/night

D. Both are at exit 189 on the southbound
frontage road of I-35(at hiway 46)

II. Campground
A. KL Ranch Camp.....(830) 625-3038
B. The first 4 tents will be placed on
reserved sites 90/91. The first 4
tenters that call me (830-627-3926)
don't need to reserve a site.
1. Cost is $8/person + $2 for the bike
per night.
C. All others need to call & reserve a tent
site at $25/night, site 101 or 102.
D. If you need a spot with electric and water,
call & reserve site #92.
E. I have reserved site #90, & I hope
John & Brenda will reserve #91. (haven't
talked to them yet-they're coming)

III. Getting a decent rate on the river is
almost impossible. The camopgrounds do not
do anyone any favors. That's why it's
taken so long to do this. One guy says
this, the other guy says that.
A. I think I lucked out with our site on the
river because the first guys turned out
to be jerks.

I just talked with Larry Childs, he will reserve site 92. That gives us 3 consecutive sites, which, should add, according to my contact, another 2 tent sites for the previously aforementioned price.....making 6-7 tents available at the $8/person and $2 for the bike (which we might be able to waive!).

I will call my contact and let y'all know the number of sites available with those 3 reserved site (90-91-92)........whew....!
