I hate extreme temps--it doesn't matter which direction. About 3:00 this afternoon, I blew a hose between the torque convertor and transmission on my scraper. The heat almost got the best of me before I got it off to go to the parts house. It couldn't have been right (I don't think), but the thermometer on my pickup said 106 on the way to the store.
I got the hose replaced and back on about 6:30, hauled the load of dirt on the scraper to the fill site. After I dumped the load, my brakes locked up. The tensioner for my air compressor belt had the bearings in it go out. I had a spare at the shop, replaced it, and finally made it home about 8:00.
