Well, I got it put back together with hardly ANY leftover parts . Antenna is very well tuned & actually blew a window out of the pickup when I was doing my transmit test to the other radio
SWR on ch1 is less than 1.1 & on ch40, less than 1.5.

Just how many left over parts were there??
I hope they were Not Important parts.!!!!

In my long career of fixing motors (and other things), I have found that manufacturers often put needles parts into their product to boost the price.

I notice taht you didn't say if it worked, only the SWR reading!

I ended up getting the factory CB. After looking at everthing that was available I decided The factory unit just made more sense for me. Next expense is the headsets though. Probably call neal and see what he has....The Count
