Very disapointed. Its so much a Harley clone that if the company CO's were there ,I would have slapped them silly. How dare they put the Voyager name on that piece of crap.UGLY,UGLY,UGLY.All that chrome can't cover up UGLY. If this bike appeals to you, just go to the Harley dealer and I bet you buy the Harley first. My feelings, if you need a new bike-just find a low milage 03 and enjoy yourself for the next few years on a real Voyager. WOW I vented on that one. Kool note-saw Russ and Gabi there.I think Gabi found her next bike.Is it a Honda ?
Not having seen it nor knowing the MSRP, I can't say, but I'm betting that the HD that it's cloned from will cost $10k more & this will have Jap reliability. . I gottas share my latest stolen, elaborated upon thought:
"What the Japanese call a defect, the Chinese list as next years corporate goal, the Italians & Americans call character, & the Germans will deny to their grave."
Isn't the VXII a nearly identical "clone" to the Gold Wing? The plastics sure look similar. It would be nice if Kawasaki engineers and marketers would step out on a limb and design something of their own for a change.
>>I believe Polaris did that and you see what expressions it got from this forum!!
I wasn't (still not) a fan of the Vision. Part of it was the styling, part was the fact it was a V-twin, part was based on test rides by two of my friends.
To the best of my knowledge, the problems my friends noticed have been addressed. If/when I'm in the market, I'll consider one....I doubt I'd pick one, but I'd consider it.
That being said, I never thought I'd pick the Voyager over a GoldWing, either.
