Bryan Watson and Carmen Vincelj win Blackpool and retire!

Just announced! Bryan Watson and Carmen who represented Germany won all the five dances in today's Professional Latin category. It was their 7th victory in Blackpool, more than any other couple in the history. They have chosen this moment to announce their retirement from the competitive dancing. They danced their farewell rumba to the standing ovation - when they heard "Thank you Carmen and Brian for the wonderful dancing" they both had tears in their eyes... End of era for all the dance enthusiasts from around the world!

The top 48 couples are adjudicated in every dance separately and the results are annouced after each dance. The second place in all the dances (and second overall) went to Michal Malitowski and Joanna Leunis representing Poland. The Russian Slavik Kryklyvyy and Elena Khvorova were third overall (and third in all dances).

Fourth were Andrej Skufca & Katarina Venturini, fifth - Sergey Sourkov and Agnieszka Melnicka. Couples placed sixth and seventh overall did not dance every final, the new Professionals Peter Stokkebroe and Kristina Stokkebroe did not get the Rumba but were placed fifth in Samba and sixth in Cha Cha, Paso and Jive. Maxim Kozhevnikov and Yulia Zagorouitchenko, who represent USA, danced Rumba in the final and were placed sixth and Jive where they were placed fifth - overall they were classified on the seventh place:
