OLympic would be very bad for Cabbies! no support!
ALl the corrupt and greedy City officials who keep increasing the price of everything in Chicago and who keep doing nothing for cab drivers are making big deal of this probable 2016 OLympic in Chicago.
While it maybe good for certain few and die hard sport fans, It would be very bad for low income people and cab drivers in the city.
WHy it would be bad for cabbies? the answer is- Much more traffic, much more city regulations, much more cabs and more traffic tickets.
You like driving on LAKE SHORE and all exits blocked due to festivals and some shows? then this olympic traffic would be worse.
This corrupt city officials will make more new cabs for olympic passengers and when the game is done, these new cabs won't go away but stay which means we will have more new cabs on street.
Hey, we already have more cabs than private cars in this city.
Don't we already have many new unfair rules like credit card? well then, city will set more new rules when it comes to olympic.
This city makes new rule for cabbies almost month or two.
olympic lasts for couple of months only but the unfair rules and scam on drivers will continue.
I don't want this olympic in chicago if i am still a cabbie on 2016.
