This is stupid and another insult by city.
50 cents is less than what a stranger would give to a homeless begger on street.
Instead of fooling around, the city should stop registering more new cab drivers at Harold Washington college. because city is flooded with too many cabs. Give a decent meter increase it promised last year. stop the unfair credit card ordinance.
We make $40 working 12 hours, less than car washer or MCdonald worker and yet, we have no voice?
Daley and the city wants to just keep hurting are business. So, Harold Washington College, and the rest of the city can get rich off of us. With stupid tickets, fines, and adding more cabs on the street.
We must do all we should to stop the chauffer class at HAROLD WASHINGTON and more cabs flooding the streets.
Gosh, we already have more cabs than private cars in this city and bussiness is like a hell with no one getting in to cabs and cabbies fighting each other to steal the first available fare.
