Real smart guys. Ask 50.00 for a once in a year puke and leave (1.00 night time surcharge)20.00 per night that could have been gotten unasked for. Asking for a puke charge made us look unreasonable. Who needs the extra 140.00 per week the night time surcharge would have gotten us......Most of the people that hear this do not realize barfing is from being inebriated, not the motion sickness form a crazy cab ride that they believe. Do you guys get it now?

Asking for 1.50 per credit card was a good idea that was implemented incorrectly. Should have asked for a MINIMUM AMOUNT for credit card transactions. If the minimum wasn't met the 1.50 could be put into the customers fare. Doesn't this look more reasonable?

Lastly, argueing with the city doesn't help. The mean people that work for the city will just try to stick it deeper in us. We looked so out of line in the news last night asking for a 50.00 puke charge that the 16 percent raise we desperately need was just thrown in with the dumb stuff we won't get.

Most people do not know much about the taxi business in Chicago. The public believes everyone is honest, moral, and in the right EXCEPT for us. Few realize the troubles and perils we face. Next time lets educate them first and then ask for stuff that would seem reasonable to the common woman or man.

Asking for a raise and credit fees was the right thing to do. Too bad is was packaged inside something that looked like dog doo to the general public. Nice job as usual .................

The city made sure the media spoke of the fact some dunce asked for the rates of fare to be reviewed TWICE per year. Who would look greedy here? Thanks for nothing King. You should relinquish your bent and broken crown before you drive all of us into bankrupcy.
