Can anybdy tell me why a government (the CIty of CHicago) can be in the business of selling licenses.

I want to see for myself the legal backsliding the twisting of facts the double talk that can explain away how a goverbment body can legally charge even a cent more than the cost to deliver that license into the hands of a private citizen.

$60,000 is only what some of the medallions sold for, probably just transfers to friends or family members. If you look at the most recent Dispatcher you will see that they sell at near $175,000
