Chicago Cabdriver Organization (CCO) Election

To all Chicago cabdrivers:

I hereby announce that I have written the Articles of Organization and I will be holding an election for the Chicago Cabdrivers Organization (CCO), on Wednesday, November 21st, at Kabob Corner, 760 W. Jackson, from 8am to 10pm.

Chicago cabdrivers who lease or own will be eligible to vote or be a candidate in this cabdriver election. The CCO shall be led by a CCO President and up to twenty-four (24) Cabdriver-Representatives. Cabdrivers can become "Registered-Members of the CCO" on the same day or night as the election, and they may vote for up to two (2) cabdrivers to represent them.

Anybody who wants his or her name printed on the ballot should contact me directly at (312)933-1932 or send an e-mail to chinatownmike@yahoo.com. I will have a meeting for candidates on November 7.

Any general questions can also be posted and answered here. Please find and read a copy of the Chicago Dispatcher; this announcement is on pages 28 and 30.
