Chicago Cabdriver Organization (CCO) Registration and Election Update!
Everyday from 3pm to 4pm, until November 21, cabdriver Mike Foulks will be at Kabob Corner, 760 W. Jackson, for cabdrivers who want to become "Registered-Members" of the Chicago Cabdriver Organization (CCO).
Any cabdriver who becomes a Registered-Member can vote in the CCO Election from 8am-10pm on November 21st at Kabob Corner, 760. W. Jackson.
To become a Registered-Member, a cabdriver should present his chauffeur's license, driver's license, and a lease (or hard card if he or she owns) for photocopying.
Cabdrivers who want their names printed on the ballot to be elected "Cabdriver-Representatives" should contact Mike Foulks at (312)933-1932 or chinatownmike@yahoo.com.
A copy of the Chicago Cabdriver Organization (CCO) Articles of Organization is posted at Kabob Corner, 760 W. Jackson, along with posters with information about the CCO Election. The Articles call for two(2) afternoon meetings per month and two(2) elections per year.
Registered-Members are not required to attend meetings or contribute any money. Cabdriver-Representatives who miss two(2) consecutive meetings may be removed and replaced by the CCO President.
A cabdriver can become a Registered-Memebr and vote on the same day or night as the CCO Election at Kabob Corner, 760 W. Jackson, from 8am-10pm on November 21, 2007.
There are 25 positions available. Declared candidates: John Rees "Party Cabbie", Mike Foulks, and Steve Wiedersberg.

Mohammad A. Sheikh and "Mr. T" are declared candidates for Cabdriver-Representative in the Chicago Cabdriver Organization (CCO) Election to be held at Kabob Corner, 760 W. Jackson, on Wednesday, November 21st, from 8am-10pm.
John Rees "Party Cabbie", Mike Foulks, and Steve Wiedersberg are also declared candidates.
Cabdrivers who wish to have their names printed on the ballot should contact Mike Foulks as soon as possible by either calling him at (312) 933-1932, sending an e-mail to him at chinatownmike@yahoo.com, or seeing him personally at Kabob Corner from 3pm-4pm any afternoon before the election.
