ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – A suspect in an Anchorage armed robbery was arrested with help from a taxi company.
Anchorage police say a woman Wednesday afternoon claimed to have a gun and pepper-sprayed a clerk at a pull-tab business, then stole money from a register.
The suspect walked off and was seen entering a cab.
With help from Yellow Cab, officers found the woman and the clerk identified her as the suspect.
Police arrested 35-year-old Pamela Apangalook of Wasilla.
She's charged with robbery, assault and weapons misconduct and is being held at the Anchorage Jail with bail set at $10,000.00.
