3 reasons credit card law is wrong and must be challanged. Reyes, you are wrong
This stupid commIsioner Reyes don't know anything about nature of cab driving.
Contrary to what she says, credit cards are very bad for drivers and there are 3 reasons why credit card is very bad,
1, It takes longer than cash because you have to verify card holder information with IDs and processing itself.
2, Since it takes longer than cash, we have to find a spot to pull over, sometimes since it takes time, we are issued tickets by cops and traffic aides for blocking traffic just issues a parking ticket.
3, We are unfairly forced to pay 5% of credit card transaction fee each time we are forced to accept cards, sometimes we lose the whole amount fater the card gets declined at the cashier.
So based on those 3 reasons, credit card law must be challanged. Cab is not a store where you have time and the means to accept cards. even many stores and resturants don't accept cards or have minimum $10 to $20 purchase. Why this evil Reyes don't force those stores and resturants to accept cards?
Reyes doesn't know that there are those 3 problem drivers face because she doesn't drive cabs and yet she tells these stupid reasons why we should accept cards.
If we accept cards all the time, all the tips we get from cash will be wasted and there will be no tip with credit card because of the 5% fee.
She is dead wrong and she must know those 3 reasons.
We should all do what we have to do to defend ourselve from violant thugs unruly passenger on duty.
Everyone has the right to defend himself/herself under the law.
If I am attacked while on job, i will do what I must do to defend myself. I don't give a **** about what this evil Reyes says later.
She talks too much about what we should do but what ever she says never benefits drivers.
The felony battery crime against driver must be posted in all cabs.
We don't need this evil Reyes to save our lives while on duty.

I am agree with you my friend. I want to see Richard Daley and Norma Reyes. Drive a cab and accept credit cards. I lose my tip all the time. When, I use my credit card machine. I don't like it.

We have unfair information, shared disinformation, useless charge information and information about how we are ripping off these dumbies by the mile, by the minute and by the surcharge.
When they asked for a raise, we gave them reduced rates and triple fines and jacked up the maximum to $1,000.
How many drivers can afford a $1,000 fine? NONE.
They are licensed dumbies. If they had any brains they would sue the effin' city.
